FOOD DOES NOT CURE DISEASE. There are no superfoods that heal the body.
“Comfort foods,” herbs, supplements, and medicines may be effective at abating symptoms, but none do the true work of healing.
The only healer is the body itself. If anything, food contributes to disease by burdening our digestive system.
We must simply unburden the body to allow healing to take place.
The main reason why many people stick to a fruitarian lifestyle is because of the minimal digestive burden that fruit offers.
Relatively, an egg and cheese sandwich = high digestive burden, whereas watermelon = low digestive burden.
The best thing to do to prevent and reverse disease is to keep the burden on the body low.
How? Eat less in general, choose fresh hydrating foods, cut back on denatured processed food, minimize stress, get lots of sleep, process your emotions, get sunlight and fresh air, and do things that make you happy.
The best things to do when feeling sick are to fast, rest, drink clean water, and stop believing in superfoods. The answer is never found externally - always within.
